While this slogan was famously created by the Philippines Department of Tourism, for me it applies perfectly well to work in the Philippines. That’s because with human capital the #1 export of the country for years, many companies are putting their best and brightest people in HR, and in talent acquisition in particular. I have never come across a market where HR has such an appetite for innovation! It’s therefore an easy decision for us to open our first overseas office in Manila. The Client Services team will be led by Roger Hernandez, who has previously held a number of executive roles in the BPO industry, including as head of talent acquisition for Genpact, Aegis and Telus.

Better Data With Daxtra Partnership

Yesterday, Talkpush announced its partnership with Daxtra. We have included Daxtra’s resume parsing technology to our software at no additional cost for end users), so that the recruiters can understand the candidates’ backgrounds at a quick glance. In the Philippines, a job market where every second counts, this will give yet another edge to our customers. This will also allow us to personalize SMS and email communications to each candidate, in order to increase response rates.
