Teleperformance Costa Rica: A Recruitment Process Case Study

Teleperformance is one of the world’s largest BPOs companies. It serves over 160 markets in nearly 80 countries and has 300,000 employees worldwide. They pride themselves in having a native team in every culture and since opening the Costa Rica headquarters in 2010, Teleperformance CR has quickly established themselves in a fast-growing LATAM market.

True to their vision to “Make Every Interaction Matter”, Teleperformance was looking for a recruitment solution that would not only prove to be more cost-efficient but would make the experience actually enjoyable. They wanted to enable human connection and to turn every interaction with their candidates into meaningful (and useful) information. Talkpush helped them fulfill these goals.

With the help of our CRM, chatbots, and personalized customer service, Teleperformance was able to save over 700 manpower hours on the top of the recruitment funnel just within the first 6 months. This has allowed them to better allocate their resources and increase the percentage of interviewed candidates and reduce their time to hire to less than 48 hours.

Before Talkpush, recruiters had to spend valuable hours every week to pre-screen all the applications coming through. The time to answer was understandably too long, plus the team felt that they didn’t have the opportunity to really get to know and properly assess candidates. Now, Stanley (our chatbot) takes care of that first contact. He pre-screens every job applicant through chat and voice messages, connects the recruiter and the candidate seamlessly via our CRM and facilitate the interview schedule.

We’ve taken Teleperformance’s sourcing efforts to where their candidates are; online, chatting, texting and sending voice notes. Now, the recruitment team has instant connection and communication to quickly establish rapport and build a strong employer brand relationship with the applicants. Things that have proven essential to stay on top of the recruitment experience.

Automation is half the story though. The magic happens when collaboration begins. Our Customer Success team works closely with Teleperformance to ensure that their weekly goal setting and execution strategy are aligned. For example, as a rule, Teleperformance let’s recruiters take the rest of the day off once they’ve hit their interview goals. This is one of the efforts that has resulted in more than 395 hired candidates since we started working together.
