Talkpush integrates with Google’s speech recognition technology

Talkpush, the leading interviewing software for volume hiring, is pleased to announce the integration of Google Cloud Speech Recognition with its automated phone screening solution.

Talkpush is the first interviewing software in the world to integrate with Google’s powerful speech recognition API, which recently became available to developers as announced by TechCrunch just three months ago.

The transcribed text enables users of Talkpush to review and qualify candidates’ responses faster than ever before. Talkpush users receive the text transcript from each completed phone interviews as soon as they are completed. This allows recruiters to quickly determine which candidates were able to answer correctly at a glance. Reading speed is on average about three times faster than speaking speeds, giving recruiters another productivity edge in their race for the best talent.

Google Cloud Speech is available in 80 languages and variants, allowing Talkpush users worldwide to take advantage of this exciting new feature.

Talkpush CEO Max Armbruster said: “Many candidates complete their interview on Talkpush when they are commuting or on the go, so it is critical for our speech recognition technology to cancel background noise. When we tested Google Cloud Speech against other engines, we found it to be more accurate in noise environments. We’re excited to offer yet another tool for recruiters to process candidates faster, while building a better understanding of the candidates interviewing on Talkpush.”
