      Expanded API Let’s Employers Inject Automation in Their TA Tech Stack

      Increase candidate engagement and automation with Talkpush integrated with your existing system of record

      Here is a problem tech innovators are confronted with daily: how can we get customers to benefit from our capabilities, without disrupting their legacy systems and existing workflows? Working with large enterprise customers, we want Talkpush to be adaptable to complex environments and to support a high level of customization. Thankfully, large enterprise customer have more technical capabilities in-house than your average employer, which means they have plenty of experience working with APIs and building their own unique tech stack. By expanding our API, we knew we would have immediate adoption from some of our more tech-savvy customers.

       
       

      Some employers have CRMs and ATSs that have taken years to build or configure. With ever growing tech stacks, employees are constantly asked to learn new software and forced to log in to multiple platforms daily. That’s bound to create frustration and low adoption. That’s why we’re letting go of the reigns a little bit, and letting our customers decide if they want to access the Talkpush capabilities directly, or via API. We’ve listed below some of the possibilities of our new and improved API. We are always looking for new integrations partners, so we hope this will initiate many more discussions on how we can level up the recruitment experience in new environments.

      All roads lead to automation

      Messaging

      The API now supports automated messaging to reach, engage, and move candidates down through the funnel. Companies can now use the Talkpush API to set parameters, to send SMS, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp messages, through their own internal ATS/CRM. This API supports sending quick replies defined by the user, on the platform of their choosing — (you can also let Talkpush select the best suited one). Talkpush adds an extra level of security by making sure all communications are centralized, encrypted and locally hosted, and allowing you to track the full communication history with each candidate regardless of the communication channel, as well as allowing our client companies to benefit from our UI to properly use tokens.

       
      Search

      We’ve created new endpoints — simple request codes for companies to use in order to search for candidates who match a combination of keys contained in the other fields. This allows you to build complex commands combining both search and message (e.g. SEND Message Template(a) TO Candidate FROM City:Philadelphia)

       

      Campaign Management

      Users are now able to create, update, and manage job campaigns and folders — without ever having to open the Talkpush platform via the API. Our users now have complete access to the lead pipeline, as well as the stage in the pipeline each lead is in. Companies can use the API to collect leads, set up multi-channel job campaigns and monitor their campaign’s success from their own internal tools.

      Another cool possibility is using our API to return the list of published campaigns. Your team can now extract the list of job campaigns published on Talkpush from the API so that they are automatically displayed on your legacy ATS/CRM and its associated career website.

      Everything at your disposal

      Not only can you automate key communication parts of the hiring workflow without ever having to log in to a new system, you also have access to enhanced data and analytics. Talkpush users can also track and audit candidate response rate, engagement scores, as well overall campaign success metrics and analytics that are unique to conversational exchanges such as sentiment analysis. These new data points will provide crucial information in order to tweak the approach for a more effective hiring process, as well as to inform recruiting teams where to allocate their budget, with a view to optimize the cost-per-hire.
